Industrial Documentation Made Easy

You might think this is the best way to provide hands on documentation for a factory.

It's good but it would cost a large business millions.

There is a much cheaper way to achieve most of the same result QR codes.

QR codes can be printed and provide www links to a blog manual for a peice of machinery or a youtube video explaining its operation. There are many cheap/free apps for printing qr codes for IOS on the appstore and Android on Google Play. Just google free QR code printing app.

Google Lens is free on android an will follow QR code links to provide novices with online howto operate machinery instructions, this can be installed on the operators smartphone at no cost.

I advise that the QR codes have text/graphic descriptions of the info they provide to ease their use.

This technique is also ideal for newbies in milking parlours and relief milkers.

It can also be used in ones glovebox for the car manual which invarably gets lost or destroyed by coffee.

It can be used in car engines to point to how repair documentation and replacement part buying websites for things like batteries.

I found out this idea isn't original and this other website provides graphics which helps explain the idea more fully.

Below is a conversation I had about solar panels for milking parlours and about setting up in business doing industrial documentation

QR codes on gravestones can also point to a blog page with videos of the deceased and contact details for family.

[14:22, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: Also try alfa laval
[14:23, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: Get them to sign a NDA made by a solicitor before telling them.

[14:25, 03/05/2021] John : Ya but how much is the farmer gonna get for his milk
[14:26, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: 30 cents a litre
[14:26, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: James says it would be very difficult shit pumps etc
[14:27, 03/05/2021] John : He'll only make a profit when he pays for the machine and equipment maybe 30 years later
[14:27, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: 10 years
[14:29, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: Have you thought about installing milking parlour solar panels
[14:29, 03/05/2021] John: Unreliable
[14:29, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: I'm documenting the idea on my blog
[14:29, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: Not if maintained
[14:31, 03/05/2021] John: Even still milking parlours need hot water constantly. And again location would factor. Sun rising in East etc
[14:32, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: They get hot water march Oct 80% the milking season
[14:32, 03/05/2021] John: We need to make them more cost effective if anything not futuristic visions of automated machine s
[14:34, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: 2000 euro solar panels pay for themselves in 2 3 years
[14:35, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: Will I send you the firebird installation manual
[14:35, 03/05/2021] John: If you can propose a automated model for 100 cow dairy that would be more cost effective than the conventional method then definitely. And there's always the market changing. You might milk cows this year and go beef the next or grain. Maybe a combination of all 3
[14:37, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: I'm talking about hot water to wash the machine after milking like in my house, firebird solar panel installation manual available online as a pdf
[14:38, 03/05/2021] John: What heats the water at Tom caseys
[14:39, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: Gas 800 euro a year i think
[14:39, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: I haven't talked him into converting
[14:40, 03/05/2021] John: The solar would Slash that price by over half
[14:40, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: Find an easier target
[14:40, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: 80%
[14:41, 03/05/2021] John: Why don't farmer s build wind energy pilion s altogether. Ask yourself that
[14:41, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: Unreliable
[14:42, 03/05/2021] John: If solar wasn't unreliable then roof tiles would only be sold in solar form
[14:42, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: 17k for 2kw on windy day unless you can find cheaper farmers need 10kw always on
[14:43, 03/05/2021] John: Solar panels are as old as the 80s
[14:43, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: Firebird are great
[14:43, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: Brilliant
[14:43, 03/05/2021] John: Gas is probably cheapest
[14:44, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: No
[14:44, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: Stop arguing
[14:44, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: I did my sums
[14:45, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: Ask firebird installer
[14:45, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: Or we can see how many gallons of hot water I get in a week
[14:46, 03/05/2021] John: Ok. I get up in morning and milk cows. I use 100 litres of hot water then will the water be hot in the evening when I milk them again
[14:46, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: Use gas where neccessary
[14:47, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: The water stays hot for 3 days tank is insulated
[14:47, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: Fibreglass
[14:47, 03/05/2021] John: Aha then paying for gas is also a lot less hassle than the solar
[14:48, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: It reduces gas bill by 80%
[14:48, 03/05/2021] John: But when the tank emptys it fills with cold water
[14:48, 03/05/2021] John: For domestic water system yes.
[14:49, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: You have a thermostat and timer
[14:52, 03/05/2021] John: It depends on the ๐ŸŒž DJ. And you can't guarantee anything with that in Ireland
[14:53, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: As I said it stays hot for 3 days
[14:55, 03/05/2021] John: Farmer s only want to hear profit not cost. It won't last 3 hours when you milk them and how long until it refills the storage tank and reheats the water
[14:57, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: I don't use heating in my house for water pretty much march to oct
[14:59, 03/05/2021] John: And how much hot water do you use a day. You have a small storage tank. And if you used 5 litres a day it would be alot. A farm would use thousands
[14:59, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: Dunno
[15:00, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: Google firebird
[15:00, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: Ask farmers with them installed
[15:01, 03/05/2021] John: I know who Firebird are alright
[15:01, 03/05/2021] John: They make gas boilers
[15:01, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: Ya but you ain't downloaded installation manuals
[15:02, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: They are 100 pages
[15:03, 03/05/2021] John: I'd have to be certified to install Firebird, and if they install a system it's guaranteed
[15:03, 03/05/2021] John: Under warranty
[15:04, 03/05/2021] John: I could be taken to court if anything went wrong
[15:07, 03/05/2021] Denis Joseph Barrow: Try industrial documentation so 3 days learning big money
